Installation:

1. Make sure you have got the setup file: swfcatcher.xpi
2. Open Firefox, find the menu command File > Open File and click it.
3. Open the folder where you download and save the file “swfcatcher.xpi”
4. Click the Install button in the Software Installation window.
    
5. Restart Firefox.
6. You will see Sothink SWF Catcher from topmenu Tools.
    

1. Please select Tools > Sothink SWF Catcher from the main menu of Firefox.
   
2. You should see the Sothink SWF Catcher Sidebar now.
   
3. Open any Web page that contains Flash movies. After the page has been loaded, you can see a list of Flash movies in the Web page in the Sidebar.
4. Right click the Flash movie in the Sidebar and select Save from the popup menu to save the Flash movie to your local disk.
   
5. After the Flash movie has been saved, you can then view it locally, decompile it with Sothink SWF Decompiler for Mac.

First, click the button “Multi-file Export” from the menu.

And then click the button “Add files” in the dialog “Multi-file Export” to add file into export list, the window will list all the selected files.

Second, modify your selection by clicking the buttons: these three buttons are “Select All”, “Unselect” and “Delete”. The selected file quantity will be shown on the bottom; all the file number listed in this panel will be shown on the bottom.

Third, choose a path to save the exported files;

• Add keyword syntax highlighting when previewing ActionScript in preview window.
• Add tip to download Sothink SWF Catcher for Firefox, and get the Flash movie from the browser Firefox 3.0.
• A new function is added to check if the Shockwave Flash plug-in has been installed.

Fixed bugs:

•  If user do not have Flash installed on their computers when they open the converted FLA file, a notice dialog will pop up to prompt instead.
•  Correct the label in the panel “Tag Information”.
• If the program can’t open the file, the dialog “The file has been damaged” will pop up before it got crashed.
• Correct the error about parsing AS3.

Sothink Decompiler for MAC Beta version is available this week! I must say that this version is released a little bit later than we’ve announced before, so here we want to apologize to all for this.
