Hey,

I know basic HTML and i recently saw an excellent application for the Apple Mac called TextMate, you could write xhtml, html and it provided hints of what you could be typing aswell as colour co-ordinated and aligned everything so its clear what you are doing. I was just wondering is there any other good applications for Windows thats similar to this that i could download ( don't particularly like notepad/wordpad and don't want to use dreamweaver.

For Windows Editplus or Notepad++ are two good editors if you do not like Dreamweaver.

I am using Dreamweaver. It is the professional choice for building web sites and applications. It provides a powerful combination of visual layout tools, application development features, and code editing support. With robust features for CSS-based design and integration, Dreamweaver enables web designers and developers to easily create and manage any website.

I think these tools are the most commonly used.

Hi,

Web hosting is suitable for any static or dynamic website developed in HTML, Flash, Photoshop, Frontpage, Dreamweaver, NVU or any other web authoring tool.

How about using frontpage. There are plenty of other website editing tools available as well.

Great posts and great description. I like the post and its informative content. Web design and web hosting are two different things and are needed too much for a business to flourish in any field. Web hosting is a service which allows a person to make their websites accessible over the internet i.e. World Wide Web, whereas web designing is the technique used to design a website which will be made visible over WWW. This designing can be done using any programming language and other methods like PHP, .net etc. Single page hosting is generally sufficient for personal web pages. A complex site calls for a more comprehensive package that provides database support and application development platforms like PHP , Java, Ruby etc. Both the things are inter related to each other. No design means no website for hosting. Both are necessary for making a business and website work better. :)
