hi there

I just wanted to download the decompiler.
However, on cnet there is a user opinion that makes me a little bit afraid. Can Sothink and users please comment on that?

thanx -Didi

------ CNET POSTING -------
Automatically edited my settings and became the default player for .swf files. Then when I found out it was useless unless registered ( can't even test it properly, the functions are too limited ) I find that I can no longer open .swf files and my player is deleted. I'm a flash developer, and this is a BIG problem. Thought this would be a handy tool....instead it's a nightmare.

Charles Harvin said the program "Automatically edited my settings and became the default player for .swf files...". and "It will change all of YOUR settings like *.swf extensions". All these are not sure.
Sothink SWF Decompiler does not change any setting of swf file. It will only be added to the right-click menu as an "opened by"option of a flash movie. No change or modification for default flash player.

We have contacted CNET support team for this matter and be they will correct it in quick.

Sincerely,
Webmaster

No. The .fla is the special format of Macromedia Flash just like .psd is the special format of Photoshop.
There is no tool to recover swf file to fla format.

Sincerely,
Webmaster

The shape file can be exported in *.gls format, which can be used in Sothink Glanda. And image file will be exported as jpg or bmp. Sound file will be exported in *.mp3 or *.wav format, etc.
How to make use of them depends on your need.

Sincerely,
Webmaster
