Dear People !
Firstly thankyou for making some fine tools available to us!
We use SWF Quicker in our daily work very happily and with excellent resluts.

We are having a little trouble with the FLV encoder.
With longer (60 minute) AVI and WMV movie conversions we have not been able to get any longer than about 12M of video without the converter crashing.

Key information:
c: drive spare space =9G
Enconding Option =[3] 256k
RAM=512m
Version=Latest

If we can we would like to use Sothink tools rather than other options but do require sometimes to create longer movies.

PS: We have since tried loading the movie into Sothink Quicker and it seems to work fine....

We're very grateful for any help
Kind regards
Prema

Hello prema,

Sorry for the reply delayed.

Could you please provide the file for us to have a check?

If the file is very big, you can send a email to support@sothink.com to obtain the method of providing file to us.

My Encoder crashes also always with movies over 5 Min. It crashes after conversion is done, during export (I think by creating swf from the flv). The flv is OK, playable with any flv player.

AND it does not crash with the same movie if I disable audio!!!! Maybe that´s the clue!!!

There´s no need to send you the File. I figured it out. The same Flas Video Encoder did not crash on my Laptop with the same File. The didderence was that I had ffdshow codec/filter pack (audio+video) installed on it. After installing it on my PC the Encoder stopped crashing.

And before it was the same if I used PCM, MPG2 or MP3 as audio input (I recoded the original film into several formats), the only thing what helped was disabling audio. But not any more, I found my personal solution.

Thanx anyway
