I'm running the Sothink Flash Video encoder on a Windows XP installation which is freshly installed.

Now I've got Apple Quicktime installed ( Version 7, original ), but when selecting a .mov file for conversion the player still says it can't decode the file and I should look on the website which filetypes are supported.

On this list it says it DOES support .mov, if Quicktime 6 or higher is installed !

Need help please !!!!

a Customer named Stephan

Hello Stephan,

Sorry for the reply delayed due to our holiday!

Could you please provide the mov file to support@sothink.com for us to have a check? Are you using the latest version of Video Encoder for Adobe Flash 2.2 Build 70406 on your computer?

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

Hello,

you are very sure you want an email of 300MB size ? Contracts with our customers prohibit me from sharing this content with you anyway I'm afraid.
The Video was encoded using the Quicktime Pro Suite on Mac OS 10, maybe that does help.

After I found out it isn't working I downloaded the newest Version from your Homepage and reinstalled. Still did not work.

I'm thinking about downloading a Codec Pack or something, but still: Installing Apple Quicktime isn't working (on a fresh installed Windows XP at least ).

Any other suggestions ?

Greets, Stephan

Hello Stephan,

Could you please tell us whether you mean you also can not play the file properly in QuickerTime 7 on Windows XP?

If it is , please send the file for us to have a check, since it will be helpful for us to check the problem for you. You can send the file to us via yousendit.com.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.
