I would like to have folded and unfolded icons also for no-child nodes, as a way to tell the user to that the clicked node is the current node. Is that possible? How? If not, how can I show the user that the clicked node is the current one?

See here for an example of what I want to achieve: http://www.libris.se/kategorier/300. The last two nodes ("Kataloger" and "Presentkort" are no-child nodes, but the icon still changes when you click).

Please go to Node settings > Icons to set no-child image.

I think you misunderstand me. I would like to have *two* icons also for no-child nodes, so that the user knows if she/he has clicked on the no-child node or not (as in the example I referenced).

Maybe the only solution is to add a non-clickable sub-node to this no-child node, either with an informative text or just a non-breaking space as text?

Yes, I misunderstood you.

There is no way to set two icons for non-child node.

If you just want to tell the user to that the clicked node is the current node, you can use highlight function in Global Settings.
