New user of SoThink Tree Menu.

I don't understand how to add the page link to a node. I get it to work fine, on the Internet. Example:http://www.indianamilitary.org/106ID/SoThinkMenu/106thSTART.htm

But I am creating a CD with a SoThink Tree Menu for distribution to others. So I know it can't contain a Drive Letter. No matter what I try, it will not work (In Preview). I have not actually burnt the CD.

I take the actual link that I find in "Browse", before burning the CD - as in ("Z" is my drive letter)

file:///Z:/Web Sites/106ID/CD 2006/CRIERS-106thPeriod/1944-04-07/index.htm

and have tried eliminating the "file:///Z:/Web Sites" - that doesn't work. I have then eliminated the next item, as in "106ID" - that doesn't work. The title of the CD will be 2006.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Have you tried just using relative directories?

/106ID/SoThinkMenu/106thSTART.htm

Hello,

Thanks for mjperry51's help!

To jimwest,

You can try to use root relative path and check whether it will be helpful to you.

For more information about how to add link to a node, you can check Sothink Tree Menu Help>How to>How to Add a Link to a Node?
