Hi there,

I'm building a menu for a site and having difficulty making the entire button area of each link clickable. Currently only the immediately text area is clickable. You can view it here:
http://vwest.net/services.asp

I was able to make it clickable by switching to html and defining a div with the right proportions... but then I lose all of the other text styling I need. The ideal solution would be making the entire button clickable via an option in the program.

Does one exist? Any help would be appreciated.

-Tycho

P.S. Attached is my .stm file

Hi there,

We will check the issue for you, and let you know later whether the issue can be avoided.

Thanks a lot

Hi there,

We are sorry that the link can not be added to the whole background within Tree Menu directly, and that is to say when you click the text part of item, the link will work.

And we will consider it in future.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

:(

thanks for the heads up. I did mention on the boards about making the bgs for the dhmtl menu program allow for left, middle, and right bgs. I was happy to see that the next version released had that capability.

It would be a great addition to this program to allow the text links to apply to a defined width/height area.

Am i correctly understanding that if you want a node to have a background image, then that node cannot have a link URL added? Link URL's only work if there is 'text' in the node??

I do also have DHTML Menu 9, but it does not support the same vertical slip effects with the menus. That's what I'm really after. Can you help?
Thanks. :)
Thanks.
