 Post subject: Java Decompiler problems
PostPosted: Wed Apr 19, 2006 9:57 am
Hi!

Im trying the Java decompiler, but I am unable to get the Installer to run. I have unzipped mocha.zip and jasmine into a directory and try to run:

java jasmine.Install

Getting error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jasmine/Install

My directory looks like this:
Code:
2006-04-18  19:56       <DIR>          .
2006-04-18  19:56       <DIR>          ..
2006-04-18  19:33       <DIR>          jasmine
1996-07-30  12:17                2 263 kagi.txt
1997-09-20  02:29                2 926 License.txt
2006-04-18  19:33       <DIR>          mocha
1998-01-23  16:18               53 951 mocha_11.pch
1998-01-25  02:09                3 432 Readme.txt
1997-09-19  20:08              128 356 register.exe
1997-01-16  15:39               16 454 register.hlp
1998-01-25  02:10                2 029 Register.txt

and inside mocha-dir, there are a lot of class-files, like 0.class, 1.class, Decompiler.class etc. Inside jasmine, there is "Install.class" and a subdir.

Why cannot java find the installer file? I use java version "1.5.0_06"

Thanks

Hello,

The problem perhaps is caused by two cases:

1. In step 4 of "How to install" in the readme file, it says that you should change the current directory to the Install Directory. And you could find two subdirectories in it, which are "Jasmine" and "mocha". Have you found them?

2. Please make sure that the CLASSPATH environment varible contain the path (current directory path). For example, when you input the "set classpath" command in Win95 DOS box, you should get
"CLASSPATH=.;CLASSPATH=c:\myclasses;c:\JavaTools;"

Have you add current directory path in the CLASSPATH environment variable?

Hope that will be helpful to you.

It is because of your java application dear. Why don't you try a new copy of java. I think that will work...
