Thank you very much Sophia. I really don't want to complain, especially since it's free, but I would like to recommend the instructions be a little more clear because it is confusing.
It says to:
1. Install VSFilter (also known as DirectVobSub)
VSFilter (DirectVobSub) is a DirectShow subtitle filter which can render different formats of external subtitle files (such as ".srt", ".sub") onto video during video playback and conversion. Download it here and install.
On the download page it says to read the release notes before downloading...but there's no release notes or instructions.
When I download the newest version of this file, it is named incorrectly vsfilter_20051125.7z
- when I rename it to a zip file it says it's corrupted.
So then I download the one after (again no instructions) - all I get is a .dll file - I wasn't sure what to do with it. Fortunately I Googled it.
Full instructions should be put in the tutorial.
So what did was save it to c:/windows/system32
Then run regsvr32 VSFilter.dll
But it works so I'm very happy and grateful...thank you!
