Hi,

I went ahead and bought the Sothink SWF to Video Converter. I put it on a network server which is running Windows XP Pro on a Dell PE850 single 3Ghz Dual Core CPU, 2 GB RAM.

The process for converting video goes smoothly. I log-in to that server via Windows Remote Desktop, start up the Sothink SWF utility, and select my SWF. I can hear the audio just fine when it is capturing/recording. However, the final AVI does not play the audio. It seems as though the audio isn't being captured.

I looked inside my Windows sound control panel and this is what I have for my sound card:
Microsoft RDP Audio Driver
There are no other audio drivers that I can select.

How can I get the audio in the final AVI?

Thanks.

Hi there,

There are different reasons if you choose different mode to convert Flash files:

1. If you choose "Interactive"mode:
Please check if you are using the latest version, Sothink SWF to Video Converter 2.4 supports recording original sound directly so users do not need to adjust the audio settings any more. As long as the Flash files can be played on your computer, you can convert it to the popular video format successfully by Sothink SWF to Video Converter.

2. If you choose "frame to frame" mode:
Because the movie is captured by single frame individually in this mode, it is impossible to get the sound at the same time of capture. But you can import an exist sound to your movie in convert settings.

Please use the methods above and have a try. If you still have the problem, please provide us your original file for us to have further check.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for the reply.

I got this resolved by plugging in a USB audio device. As soon as I did this then it recorded the audio properly.

Regards.

thanks for this!!!
I find a similar program for converting flash formats to some video formats. And tried Flash to Video Encoder PRO . I'm really impressed with how easy it is to use and how effectively it got the job done. Also you able to convert Flash SWF and FLV files to MP4 media content for your mobile devices.
u must try it :D

Do you have the problem with every file you tried or only some specific files?

Please kindly write an email to support@sothink.com to provide the following information:

1. your OS information
2. the version of your Sothink SWF to Video Converter
3. screenshot of your conversion settings
4. the file you referred to in your post

Thanks for your co-operation and understanding!

If you need further assistance, let us know.

Have a nice day!
