I am having two issues that I would like to resolve before buying this product.

1) I am converting a swf measuring 550 x 400 pixels to an animated gif at 275 x 200 pixels. I have tried multiple configuration settings (letterbox, stretch) and even converted at "original" size, but every time I get a animated gif that contains a thin black line at the bottom of the gif. I assume that it is 3 pixels as the output dialog box that appears at the end of the conversion states that the resulting files is 272 x 200, not 275 x 200 as I set before converting. I have not cropped the file, I've even pressed the full size button to insure the entire swf is converted. Any way to remove this black line?

2) The quality of the resulting converted gif is not adequate at either 16 or 24 bit. The file is dithered regardless whether I select 16 or 24 bit and no change in file size make me think that this setting is being ignored. Can this be fixed? A 24 bit converted file should not result in a dithered output.

Thanks,
Todd
