I think it would be great if there was a way to integrate rss feeds into the scroller so that you could set up each item as the latest entry in the rss feed. Is this already possible and if so, how?

Otherwise, I love the product!

yeah easy, use a database. write a script that pulls the data and enters into database where the scroller pulls it out of it.

Thanks, I appreciate it but it isn't too easy for me. How do I write a script to input the rss data into a data base and what script do I use to get the scroller to access it? RTFM is just fine, but it won't do any good if I don't know which manual to read.

For security reasons, javascript cannot directly access the rss feed. It needs the support of the server-side script.
So, Sothink JavaScript Web Scroller cannot support it.

Since you are an expert on it, would you please make a sample for us? It will be really appreciated.

well just need to google rss reader. i used the one attached but heavily modified to suit my website.
all it does is read your RSS feed and parses it and places it in a database.
then all you need to do is get the scroller to pull the info out of the data base and ya laughing.
simple as that. took me a 5-6 hours to implement i think to modify and incorporate it in my site.
I set up a cron job so the script runs every 4 hours of the day to keep it up to date.
its freeware.
