I too have published an image only scroller but it does not show up on the web page.

Here is the page. http://www.iamautogroup.com/index2.html

It should appear below the Contacts tab on the left side of the page.

Images are in a folder called Scroller/js or /image or css

I have tried moving the code around in the head but that does not seem to make any difference.

I have used the text scroller in other sites but the image only does not seem to work here .

I am using Dreamweaver 8 for my edits but iPower did the initial creation with their CM4All app. I would love to move it all to Dreamweaver but that is another issue.

Please help!

Hi Raffles,

We checked the URL you post, and find you published scroller using JS+CSS method. We suggest you adopt JS Only method to try to solve the problem.

If you still can not get it work, please let us know!

Regards

:)

Hi Cindy, I initially published that way but just republished with JS only with the same results

I did notice that the code that I am instructed to copy is as follows:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.iamautogroup.com/Scrollers/jsstscode.js"></script>

There is no / between js and stscode.js I tried to insert on as follows:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.iamautogroup.com/Scrollers/js/stscode.js"></script>

I had the same results.

I know that I am doing something wrong but can't figure it out.

Thanks

We rechecked the URL,
http://www.iamautogroup.com/index2.html

and we find you miss a </script> in your resource codes. Please see the image attached, there should be a </script> in line53.

Please correct it to solve the problem.

Hope this helps!

Regards

Hi Cindy I must be stuck on stupid here.

I did add the </script> also noticed that I had not updated to replace the CSS scroller with JS only but made that change.

Folders in Dreamweaver are <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.iamautogroup.com/Scrollers/js/stscode.js"></script> I have a folder Scrollers in the Public.html directory> In that are two folders images and js. I had named the one on the server Images and not images so it was not finding it. Renamed it and it did find it.

The code generated for copy did not include a / between js and the .js java files. I added it and the combination seems to work.

Thank you so much for the help. This is a great tool and as you can tell I have very limited development knowledge and I am able to work with this.

Just started working with Sothink DHTML and is easy and very helpful for new site development.

Thank you again.
