I'd love to know how to make a transparent background with a gradient that will allow the scrolling images to not just hit a "wall" as they disappear, but instead will hit the gradient and seem to "fade" in & out. I'm sure it's done w/ CSS and z-index's or some such thing. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your time!

I'm pretty good - I understand CSS pretty well, and I know about z-layers - but it doesn't seem to work. Is there any code you could share, or technique perhaps that might help?

Thanks for your reply!!
