1. your page is .html
2. your include file is .js

how on earth do you expect php language to be able to be parsed with those 2 extensions used?? php code will only be parsed when in a .php file.
think about it.

Hum.... Anyone else want to be helpful without begin insulting.

Oh, for you Guru... GAFP We can't all spend our Saturday nights home alone reading a manual.

Does it take so much effort to take a nicer tone?

Think about it.

Wow. Informing me what is wrong is actually not helpful.

I did regenerate using the PHP option in the application, then followed the exact instructions in the manual and on-screen directions, however it is not working.

So that this thread is helpful to others and doesn't go on forever, I ask that you no longer post a reply to this issue unless it is to actually help and not just to comment on what you consider to be 'stupid' questions or inability to fix the problem on my own.

This kind of response leads me to consider not purchasing additional products from SoThink, nor recommend their products, especially if this is the kind of rude abuse that users of their software must endure just to seek support from this forum.

If your intention is to undermine SoThink's ability to conduct business and sell software, you are definitely making headway.

Thanks!

Hi biggytv,

We have checked the URL again,
http://www.biggytv.com/btv_basic/kids_a ... _anim.html

We are terribly sorry that we still fail to access to it, would you please recheck?

And please do inform us the URL or you can also provide us with all the relevant files in ZIP format which enable us to reproduce the issue you reported before we set out checking the cause of this problem. We will try our best to help you out.

We will appreciate your understanding and co-operation.

Best Regards

:)

These samples are useless! Maybe if you're a graphic specialist or something.

I need a fully working ASP.NET site (C#) with the web scroller working.
Or at least a step by step tutorial on what exactly needs be done. You've got a few code snippets in your examples with no info on what goes where, or how to use the darn program in Visual Studio.

I too would like to see a sample of using the scroller with an mdf database in C#. I'm using Visual Studio 2008 (c#) . I'm not sure if I am supposed to try to attach to my current database or if you have to include a separate "sothink" database and if you do, does if have to be .mdb database??

Is the only to way to make it work, to have its own database and include the images in there or what? I've tried some other programs that are far less complicated and can't get this to work. From what I'm reading on these boards, the tech support just isn't there. I won't buy unless I can get the trial working fully. Hope someone out there is responsive and will post some answers:
1) Do you have to have a separate "Sothink" database in your web to use this scroller?

Frank

Hi there,
I am having quite a problem as my database does not have a "Page URL" content as you show in your example:

var sLink = list_content("Link");

..in my case the URL of the linked page is an asp page that needs data from 3 columns of my database.. something like:

http://www.mysite.net/detail.asp?Detail ... %20amarone

I get tuck here:
sts_ai("i0",[1,"<%=sName%>","<%=sLink%>"

Ok, I am not a programmer but I have some little skill and I can't manage to fit my url with all his stuff in it.. my question is if this is possible and if you have a suggestion.

Thanks

I am really impressed by reading this article. In future, you should be giving information about it more. I must have to praise you for this extra ordinary piece of work.
