Hello,
questions about about copyright (so one is not sued for copyright infringement):
- do you OWN the copyrights on ALL design elements and templates in LogoMaker?
- do you grant me FULL rights of use (unmodified or modified) of all these elements?
- is that use royalty-free?
- am I allowed to make logos only for own use or also for 3rd parties?

Thank you very much for your kind information,

Jamal

P.S.: already asked per support form but more than me might be interested in this topic. That's why I'm posting here.

only once was a tiny bit insufficient, don't you think? I guess you meant solely for myself? Even that was as if I was only allowed to write letters for myself in MS Word.

Let's see what Sothink says. BTW more important to my is the copyright issue.

Regards, Jamal

I'd be interested to know the answer to that question myself.

Cheers

TheUsername, you haven't read my original post, have you?

Besides that neither has been answered: Who the hell are you? D'you think it's cool advertising your bleeding HOLDEN cars?

Please fuck off and die, if you don't mind.

Many thanks!

Jamal

Hi Jamal,

- do you OWN the copyrights on ALL design elements and templates in LogoMaker?
- do you grant me FULL rights of use (unmodified or modified) of all these elements?

The templates within Sothink Logo Maker are designed and generated by our designers! If you are the registered user of the program, yes, you can use those files with no problem.

- is that use royalty-free?

No other charge will occur after you purchase the product.

-am I allowed to make logos only for own use or also for 3rd parties?

Yes, you can use it for your own or use them to generate logo for other parties!

Hope this info helps.

Thanks a lot.

Dear Cindyrae,

many thanks for your reply. It was I thought/hoped but I wanted it in written.
Especially as next Tuesday is half-price-day and I get the product even more priceworthy.

Best regards, Jamal

P.S. regarding your signature: Prior to posting in this forum I posted the same text twice to your support form and a comment form. Until right now I haven't received a single reply.

Well I think if you wanted to sell your logo (but who wants a logo that is just only bitmap, and not vectorised) you migt run into problems.
Because the buyer would want copyright on the design and maybe elements of the design, and they are not yours so you can't grand them.
because that would mean that other users of logomaker couldn`t use those elements anymore.
So I think this stipulates only non-commercial use, for yourself and 3rd parties. But I could be wrong ofcourse, although the problem of elements in the logo being used by more, would still exist.

...it depends on the country.
Over here you do not sell the logo, you rent it (stupid idea IMHO, but daily practice). So all the customer gets is a time-limited(!!) right to use the logo. It was still my property. Again, stupid (I never rented a logo!) but that's how it is here.

Best regards, Jamal

Hi Jamal, these questions are very confusing. Are you talking about a logo design, Has anyone had any experience using www.logogarden.com? I got to see your another post with the same message recently. Not in this forum, in another forum. What is the meaning of asking these kind of question. Hope you are not going to put them into any kind of trouble. Do you have the problem with the . I can foresee see some major hidden reasons behind these Questions. I am not the right person to answer so waiting to hear from them directly.
