Hi there, I seem to have run into a problem that has been touch on a few time within this forum.
It’s the problem where select dropdown that are held within an iframe display in front of a DHTML drop down menu in IE6 or below.

I have set auto hide for both iframe and select within the advanced tab. I have also checked the “Create Cross-Frame menu”, “Popup menu is shown in IFrame” and put the name of the iframe within the “Name of frame to show popup menu”.

But this doesn’t really sort out my problem but causes 2 other problems as you’ll see from the links below:

This kind of works because it now hides the select boxes when you hover over the menu items, but by displaying the drop down menus within the iframe makes the last 2 menu display in a very odd manner.

The other problem I found is even when using this method, if your iframe is pulled from a domain outside your main domain you get a javascript error, as in the following:

Is there a better way round the whole iframe/select box problem? This is become quite critical now because a number of our clients are complaining that this is a real problem for them.

I look forward to your response.

I am using version 8.5 if that is of any use to you.

It would seem that the basic iframe issue has not yet been resolved.

Your JS error may be a result of security settings that do not allow cross-domain access.

Your best bet may be to enter a trouble ticket with Sothink Support here.
