Please follow the link: http://www.sothink.com/webtools/dhtmlmenu/index.htm. The navigation menu on the right was created by Sothink DHTMLMenu 3.0.

What about "normal" people's sites, especially those built with MS FrontPage. I didn't doubt that the SoThink pages would include working menus. I was hoping to see a published site by someone who has had to learn to use this program like me.

Hi Ria,

I'm putting a propsal site together using this menu app. Bear in mind it is all very work in progress at the moment and excuse the cheesy photo on the left that is being used to pad out the left hand side for the moment :) Links will be dead & some of the text will be garbled.

http://www.astralisgroup.com/prop

I am slightly worried in that I have had feedback from a Mac user using Mac iBook running Mac OSX and with MS Explorer as the browser. He cannot see the menus.....

jon w

So I hear...

Among other problems it also leaves behind "ghosts" of the menus when the mouse cursor moves off the link buttons.

Thanks for the link and the feedback. I, for one, am seriously reconsidering purchasing this app.

Jess,

When you move the mouse over the menu a drop down menu apears like it should. But when you move off the menu parts of the drop down menu stays on the screen. Take a look at http://www.gwrrancb2.org . Move the mouse over several menu items and some of the drop down menu text will remain on the screen. Also MAC users can NOT see the menu. Any fix?

We've visited the site said by you and found that everything was OK. So could you please tell us your IE version & operating system version?

And If you want to increase the sensitiveness of the submenu's popup, please adjust the speed of the Special speed in Popup Menu>Advanced dialog. Though the speed arranged from 10 to 100 by dragging the slider, you can input the value outside the arrangement manually, such as 999.

About the MAC problem, the programmers are testing it now.

Maybe that's because I'm not running the Sothink Menus. I change back to a javascript menu system I got free and modified it to do what I want. It's not as easy to use as the Sothink product, but none of the downside. As soon as Sothink has the bugs and Mac problem fixed, I'll take another look.
