I am a newbie and I am having a problem I have searched this web site and forum and to my knowledge nobody is having this problem

In the link field of a menu I have this entry

javascript:myaddFavorite()

This is the function being called:

function myaddFavorite() {
alert('hello');
return false;
}

When I click on the menu item I get two alert notices.

I have the target set to _self
I am using IE10
I am using Windows 8

I have had this product for 2 days, have spent well over 20 hours on this problem.

Seems to me I need an onclick routine.

If someone can help me I would appreciate it. If not this piece of software go in the garbage. (I wrote my first program for money in 1967) and I have looked at and evaluated many pieces of software.

That's a question you need to ask of the technical support staff at Sothink (support@sothink.com). Unfortunately, you may not be able to get a fast response because their offices are closed in observance of China's Great National Day from September 30 to October 8.
