Created horizontal drop down list. Views okay in preview and in web browser. When inserted into html page the drop down lists and image links appear over the top of the horizontal main menu lists instead of below it as in the browser and preview as they are supposed to do. It is set as to display 50 below the horizontal list. Even went into the html and changed the 50 to a greater number but the drop downs still appear over the top of the menu list. Did also change the side to side number to see if that would move them and it did. The drop downs moved horizontally on the web page put nothing seems to make them move vertically. The drop downs still appear over the top of the main menu list. What's the problem here especially since the dropdowns position themselves correctly when viewed in a web brower mode prior to insertion in a html page.

Now please do as follows to change the poup direction of the submenu forcefully:
1) Select the mainmenu in the structure window.
2) Click Popup Menu tag on the left.
3) Click Advanced tag. Then in Position field, click down arrow.

This way is only useful when the menu is put in a web page. If the menu is put into a frame, the popup direction will be auto for DHTMenu does not support crossing frame. Also if the menu list is put on the bottom of the page, the submenu will be over the main list for DHTMLMenu can detect the window of the browser auto.

Jess:
Tried that. The menus will move side to side but will not move up or down. Also, it is not on the bottom of a page. They will move up and down when previewed in the browser but not when inserted into a web page. even a blank web page with no frames.
