Help! I need to get these videos playing as soon as possible. I have created the Flash videos with the FLV option (had to, because the videos were large). The SWF files work great on my computer but when uploaded to my web server it doesn't work. I ensured that both the SWF and FLV files were uploaded to the same directory (www.meistool.com/videos)

The web site is: www.meistool.com

The Web page editing tool I use generated this code:

Code:
<object style="width:100%; height:100%"
name="lowresflash_" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash8/cabs/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0"
align="bottom"><param name="movie" value="videos/uvs060828-004.swf"><param name="play" value="false">
<param name="menu" value="false"><param name="loop" value="false"><param name="quality" value="autohigh">
<embed src="videos/uvs060828-004.swf" align="bottom" border="0" width="100%"
height="100%" loop="false" quality="autohigh" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash">
</embed>

I tried the following code in a test page (the same that is generated by SoThink FlashVideo Encoder):
Code:
<html>
<body bgcolor=#000000>
<center>
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="320" height="252">
  <param name="MOVIE" value="http://www.meistool.com/videos/UVS060902-006.swf">
  <param name="QUALITY" value="HIGH">
  <param name="BGCOLOR" value="#000000">
     <embed src="http://www.meistool.com/videos/UVS060902-006.swf"
            quality="high"
            type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
            bgcolor="#000000"
            width="320" height="252">
</object></center>
</body>
</html>

In the above one I tired relative links (videos/UVS060902-006.swf) and even putting the test page inside the same directory.

Unfortunately none of the techniques work.

Hello StevenP,

Could you please tell us whether you get any problems if you use abosolute web path?

Thanks a lot.
