Hello! Noob here.
I am thinking of buying Sothink SWF to Video converter.
I am impressed at the features, especially retaining audio ability.
another product I was looking at didn't have it.

Does it have a export frame rate function?
I made my Flash anims using the default 12 fps and while it looks good on Flash's SWF player, I think on TV, anims may play too fast.
(I heard TV is 30 fps? )
An adjustable export video frame rate would be cool since I disire to create cartoons for DVD.

Perhaps I am worrying too much and ought to experiment with the trial version.

Hey Noob,

Current version of Sothink SWF to Video Converter do have export frame rate function.

Please download the trial version and have a try:
http://www.sothinkmedia.com/swf-to-video/download.htm

Please check "Conversion Parameters" wizard page, and you can adjust the value in "Frame rate" box.

Hope that helps and happy Valentine's day! :D

Great! Just recieved my confirmation number in email.
Can't wait to try it out tonight.
Thanks for tolerating impatience. :p

--------
O.K., installed, entered the very long registration number, and converted my first swf file. This is really cool. Way much better image results than another converter program I tested.
Now I went ahead and removed it in leiu of SoThink's SWF to Video converter.

I couldn't get the audio to work in my SWF file..
My computer speakers play the SWF file, but not the converted video...
I'll read up on it later since it looks like a simple setup ordeal.- I am impressed with this product right away.

Hello,

If you could not get the audio to work in your swf file, please check whether you have checked "Frame to fame"mode.

Because the moive in captured by single fame individually in this mode, it is imposible to get the sound at the same time of capture. But you can import an exist sound to your movie in conversion parameter settings.

If you have choosed interactive mode, please check your system record setting to see if the "Stereo Mix" ("Wave out Mix" on some computers) is chosen as the input of recording. In Conversion Parameters dialog, click the speaker button and you will see the "Recording Control" dialog. Try to find the option "Stereo Mix". And check its box to make it is selected or uncheck the box to make it is NOT muted. For details, please read the chapter "Record Audio from Current SWF File" of Help document.
