I have a little problem with scroller and DHTML. My website (which is in the beginning stage) is multilingual, Russian (which uses cyrillic fonts) and English.

Ok, so here is the problem: when I open up an english page, everything is fine, the letters are displayed the way they should, without any weird codes or confusing markings... when I (or any other visitor) opens up a Russian page, I see gibberish lettering, on every single page I have to right-click, choose Encoding, then Cyrillic (Windows), everytime I refresh the page I have to do it again.
The visitors of the website are going to be mostly those.... with.... let's say little knowledge of the computers, and several visitors say, "your website doesn't work" (not everyone sees the little note on the top which explains what to do. And it gets annoying to keep on repeating that.

Is there anyway to make this problem not a problem? Or maybe someone knows some code or anything that would MAKE the browser choose the needed encoding?

English page http://www.bestwms.net/SandwichOrange.html
Russian page http://www.bestwms.net/SandwichOrangerus.html
and also http://www.bestwms.net/dyxovnayapisha.html

Thank you in advance,
G.

Hi there,

For the scroller issue, we just released a new version of JavaScript Web Scroller, and added a new function of specify the encode as UTF-8. We suggest you choose the encode as UTF-8, and then publish scroller into web page again.

And the same as menu, please publish menu as separate JS file, and choose the encode as UTF-8.

Please note you should set your web page as UTF-8 as well.

Hope this helps!
