Hi
I have download a video from Youtube in WV! format using Sothink web videodownloader. Yes... name file ends in WV!
I can see it in Sothink FLV Palyer. However I need converter it to avi or something like that to edit it. But I no other editor opens it.
Is it a video or FLV format or a audio...
Why can I only open it by Sothink FLV Palyer...
thanks

SoThink Web Downloader Solution

Why can't you? Because SourceTec doesn't care if it works right or they're lazy butt-heads. Take your pick.

As for your problem, the .wv! is a flash format. You could wait for them to fix the FLV Converter or just delete wv! and type in flv. They will all work and open in an FLV Player.
TO BE VERY CLEAR...
Remove WV! and type FLV. Then say 'yes' to the do you want to change it.
You are not alone.
SIDENOTE...
Don't buy WV converters. They don't work on WV!, but nobody (like SoThink) will tell you that.

We would like to inform you that the reason of the problem is that the file name generated automatically exceeds 255 characters; actually this is not permitted by the system.

Therefore, we suggest you edit the file name manually before you save the file and make sure the length of the file name is less than 255 characters.

Hope the above information is clear and helpful for you!

Please let us know if we can be of any help.

Have a nice day!
