Hi. I am making a game with a sprite sheet and a bunch of backgrounds that I've edited in windows paint. I need to import them to the stage. The only problem is the fact that when I import them, I go to crop them so they don't look like this:

And I can't figure out how to do it. Is it possible to crop images in Sothink SWF Quicker?
The reason I am wondering is because I want the player to at least think I care about my game. Because I do care. So if you can help me, great.

What do you mean by "crop"? I see your sprites have a white background, while it should be transparent. You need to save each sprite in png or gif format, so to preserve transparent borders.

But that's my problem. I only use png formats and gif formats. But I can't get the white background to disappear. Is there a technique I need to pull it off?

No at all. Simply import an image into a MovieClip. Double check your format.

Send me your images or a sample sqf (info @ papermakeit.com) so that I can see where is the problem.

Find the answer in your email.

Your gif images don't contain transparent pixels. That's it.
