I am trying out the demo of Sothink.

I have an application that needs to play flash files and pass variables to those files. The environment uses AS3 for their development.

When I create a demo file in Quicker that includes a Dynamic Text object with a variable name, I can pass a value to that text and it will display in the flash as expected. A problem I am having is that I want the text to display on two lines. I understand that a carriage return is noted using \r in the string. When I include that, it displays literally. So when I attempt to update the flash with this string "Hello \r my name is David" I get:
Hello \r my name is David

while I am expecting to get:
Hello
my name is David

What must be done to insert a carriage return/line feed?

David P

How do you feed the text?

With a txt file you write:

"Hello
my name is David"

hitting Enter command after "Hello".

The text is supplied by a variable that is inserted programatically. It does not have a carriage return/ line feed. I want to insert one after a certain word in a phrase. \r doesn't seem to work.
