I'm trying to making the counter when user hit the button but fail to run it. after tested i got the below information


line3: Syntax error.
on (release){
line2: Mouse/Keyboard events are permitted only for button/movieclip instances.

button code is:

on (release){
_root.counter+=1;
}

and

test code is
_root.counter = 1;

so to solve this problem? i need some help over here.

Sorry Bro... u means attach .gla file or just simple coding? i'm not understand "attach source file" is means which file?
