Mexico moved into the semi-final round of the London 2012 Olympic Games mens soccer tournament with a 4-2 extra-time victory over Senegal on Saturday. Air Jordan Schuhe Kaufen . Giovani Dos Santos and Hector Herrera both scored in the overtime period to send the North American side into the next round. "I am very grateful for the Mexico fans to come here and the local ones as well as they helped fill the stadium," sais Mexican keeper Jose Corona. "Wherever we go, Mexico fans follow usand that gives us the power on the field." Mexico held a 2-0 lead over an hour into the game before Senegal responded with two goals in seven minutes to draw the teams level and forcing the game beyond 90 minutes. Mexican midfielder Jorge Enriquez opened the scoring in the 10th minute when he headed home a bending free kick delivered by Dos Santos. The teams traded chances for the remainder of the first half and into the second half, before Mexico was able to double its advantage. Javier Aquino took advantage of a goal line scramble that put Senegal keeper Ousmane Mane out of position, found the loose ball in the box and fired it into the net. Senegal finally got on the board through Moussa Konate in the 69th minute. Defender Pape Souare broke in on the left wing and bent a cross towards Konate who headed the ball into the net to cut the Mexican lead in half. The comeback was completed when Ibrahima Balde headed home a Souare corner to knot the game at 2-2. In extra time, Mexico controlled most of the action and forced Mane into making a highlight reel kick save just three minutes into the period. Unfortunately for Senegal, he wasnt able to stop Dos Santos who stole the ball on the outside of the box and fired home the goal in the 98th minute that would prove to be the winner. "It could have easily put us off but we kept calm and got back ontrack," Dos Santos said about the Senegal comeback. Herrera picked up an insurance marker for Mexico, getting behind the Senegal defence and beating the keeper to the put the game out of reach. "It was a great moment for my career and one I will always remember," said Herrera. "It is special to represent my country here and I am very happy." Mexico will move on to face Japan in the semi-finals of the London 2012 mens soccer tournament. "They are a tough team and a strong team," said Herrera about Japan, "We have played them in the past and it has always been difficult so we expect a tough match. We need to focus on this game and on nothing else." Jordan Basketballschuhe Kaufen . Raikkonen, who won the season-opening Australian GP, was 0.03 seconds faster than Webber and 0.12 quicker than Vettel. "Its nice to be fastest but you never know what the others are doing," said Raikkonen, who won the drivers championship in 2007. Air Jordan Basketballschuhe G√ľnstig . -- Defensive back Brandian Ross, offensive lineman Alex Parsons and running back Jeremy Stewart all have signed their exclusive rights tenders with the Oakland Raiders. http://www.jordanairde.eu/ . An unearned run allowed in the eighth inning put the Seattle Mariners ahead 1-0 and seemingly ended the Astros hopes of a victory. They entered the game winless in 38 chances when trailing after eight innings and hadnt been able to score a single run in their last 17 innings against the Mariners. Hamilton tallied twice in the second period, including the game-winner on a penalty shot, and MacIntyre stopped 27 of 28 shots to lead the Marlies to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Rochester Americans in American Hockey League action on Wednesday. Air Jordan 6 Deutschland . -- The Chicago Bears reached the Super Bowl under coach Lovie Smith and consistently boasted a formidable defence.LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant scored 27 points, Pau Gasol added 14 points and 16 rebounds, and the Los Angeles Lakers responded to coach Mike Browns firing earlier Friday with a 101-77 victory over the Golden State Warriors. Jordan Hill scored 14 points for the Lakers, who had just a few hours to absorb Browns dismissal after just 18 months on the job. Following a bumpy first half under interim coach Bernie Bickerstaff, they pulled away in the third quarter with a 25-9 run led by Bryant, who also had nine rebounds and seven assists. Stephen Curry scored 18 points and Klay Thompson had 15 for the Warriors, who have lost five straight to the Lakers overall, and nine straight at Staples Center since March 2008. The comfortable victory doubled the Lakers victory total for the season and capped one of the most tumultuous days in recent history for a franchise thats never short on drama. With the talented veteran club off to a Western Conference-worst 1-4 start after a winless preseason, Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and owner Jim Buss abruptly dismissed Brown, informing the players during their morning shootaround. Bickerstaff ran the Lakers as the interim coach, but the veteran NBA bench boss isnt likely to be a candidate for the full-time job. Kupchak is searching for a replacement, possibly making a selection before the Lakers next game on Sunday against Sacramento. The Lakers crowd quickly made its choice known: A chant of "We want Phil!" rose out of the stands while Bryant shot a free throw in the third quarter. Phil Jackson, the 11-time NBA champion coach who won five rings in two previous stints running the Lakers, is near the top of Kupchaks list again, the GM acknowledged. Mike DAntoni, the former Knicks and Suns coach, also iis thought to be a prime candidate. Jordan Schuhe Bestellen. Dwight Howard had six points and eight rebounds while playing just 24 minutes for the Lakers in his ongoing return from off-season back surgery. Steve Nash, the other major addition to the club, watched from behind the Lakers bench, missing his fourth straight game with a small fracture in his leg. Brown never got the chance to integrate the two stars into his new offence while they were dogged by health issues. Kupchak and Buss still needed to see more success than the Lakers managed in the past six weeks, particularly on defence -- and Los Angeles limited the Warriors to 33.7-per cent shooting. The Lakers offensive struggles evaporated in the third quarter while they leaped to an 18-point lead over the undermanned Warriors, who struggled to contend inside without injured centre Andrew Bogut. Darius Morris had career highs of 10 points and five rebounds while playing the majority of the Lakers minutes at point guard. Los Angeles reserves have been largely ineffective during Browns tenure, but Morris and Hill led a spirited effort against the Warriors, outscoring their counterparts with Golden State 37-17. NOTES: Lakers F Devin Ebanks was inactive after getting arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs early Friday morning. Rookie Darius Johnson-Odom made his NBA debut in the final minutes. ... Warriors C Andris Biedrins came up roughly 2 feet short on an airballed free throw in the first half. The Latvian veteran has a career free-throw shooting percentage just over 50 per cent. ... Brown went 42-29 with the Lakers, coaching them to the second round of the playoffs during the strike-shortened season before his abbreviated start to this fall. ' ' '
