Interactive navigation menus make an attractive and useful addition to any Web site, but creating them can be an arduous task, even if you use a WYSIWYG tool such as Dreamweaver. This specialized program eases the process considerably with a no-nonsense interface that puts the necessary design and scripting elements at your fingertips. During testing we were able to set up a vertically positioned navigation bar, which organized submenus in short order. With a few more mouse clicks, we added pop-up effects and stylized buttons. We especially like that all changes are displayed immediately in the preview window. Publishing the completed navigation bar to an existing Web page is equally simple. As Sothink DHTMLMenu takes over the chore of coding, it will help both beginners as well as Webmasters who have more pressing matters to attend to...

I found what I didn't know I'd been looking for - a great program that creates many different kinds of DHTML menus for you, all from an easy-to-use GUI! The program is DHTMLMenu from Sothink, and this was the answer to my DHTML menu prayers (the ones I didn't know I needed to say!) as I can now create DHTML menus looking exactly how I want them, without having to wrestle with indecipherable javascript code. I love the program so much, I decided to take the time to explain how to create a basic menu in it so you can see how easy it is to use too.

I ran across this program because I was using a competitor's product that did NOT work. The SoThink system is easy to set up with intuitive menus and options that can be applied across multiple items. It works first time, every time on all browsers I have tried (IE, Fire fox, Flock, Opera). The options for appearance and function are so vast I have yet to scratch the surface! I HIGHLY recommend this program over others you may have seen. I have constructed my own menus using CSS and DHTML and find this method infinitely easier.

This software installed easily and gave me add-ins for Dreamweaver, Front Page and Expression Web. I used it the first time today and had a very nice looking DHTML menu very quickly. Althought I liked all of the provided templates I ended up creating my first menu without a template. It was very easy and looks great on the site. Very easy to configure and get exactly the look you need.
