Working Area Guide

Sothink SWF Decompiler applies ribbon bar in interface layout. The users can use this program more conveniently.

Let's see the commands in each tab:

File

The commands in tab "File" enable to open the SWF file quickly; export file in FLA/FLEX format or export resources in various formats; take a snapshot for file in preview window; and edit the existing SWF by resource replacement.

Quick Open

Quick Open: Input the path of the SWF file in the field to open it quickly. Truly you can click the button to browse your local disk and choose a movie file.

Recent Files: List all the Flash movies opened recently, and select one to open it quickly.

Favorites: Save the path of favorite Flash movie and re-use this SWF for next time.

Export

Export To FLA/FLEX: Export the selected movie in FLA or FLEX format.

Export To HTML5: Export SWF file to HTML5 animations, which is HTML format.

Export Resource: Export the selected elements in the various formats.

SnapShot

To ClipBoard: Copy the taken snapshot to clipboard. And you can paste it anywhere in graphic editor, document, etc. Click this icon to execute this command by default.

To File: Take a screenshot of currently played file/frame and save as image file.

Edit

Edit: Click this button to open the Edit panel so as to edit or replace the element.

Save: Save your modification to cover the original SWF after resources are replaced.

Save as: Save your modification to generate a new SWF after resources are replaced.

Discard Changes: Cancel all the modifications and go back to the original resource settings.
