Working Area Guide

Sothink SWF Decompiler applies ribbon bar in interface layout. The users can use this program more conveniently.

Let's see the commands in each tab:

 

Shape-Edit

The commands in tab "Shape" enable you to modify the existing shape in the preview window.

Note: Only when you selected one shape and click "Edit" on the right-click menu, the Shape panel will be opened. If you click "Exit" button under this tab, this panel will disappear from the ribbon menu.

shape-edit

General

Finish Edit: Exit the current shape-editing window.

Reset: Cancel all operations applied to shape to restore to the original status.

Undo: Cancel the previous action.

Redo: Recover the cancelled actions.

Clipboard

Cut: Cut the selected shape.

Copy: Copy the selected shape.

Paste: Paste the selected shape to the current preview window.

Import

Import: Import external .gls or .svg vector image to the edit view.

Export: Export the selected shape as .gls file.

Selection

Select: Select shape object or its border line.

  • Lasso: Select shape with free hand mouse dragging.
  • Select All: Select all objects in the current preview window.
  • Delete: Delete the selected part of the shape.
  • Edit Grouped Objects: Singly edit grouped objects on the canvas. (Shortcut: Double click the grouped objects.)
  • Edit Shape: Exit the current group-editing and return to editing of the shape. (Shortcut: Double click the blank parts of the program.)

Subselect: Reshape the object.

Transform: Move, resize, rotate or skew the object

Hand: Move canvas on the stage.

Group: Group the selected objects as a whole.

Ungroup: Separate grouped objects into single ones.

Color

Paint: Set color for enclosed area of the selected object.

Ink: Set color for the border line of the selected object.

Gradient Transform: Edit shape color gradient.

Eyedropper: Apply the attributes of a stroke or filled area to another.

Drawing Tools

Tools: Draw various kinds of shapes on the canvas.

Pen: Draw line segments or a set of connected Bezier curves.

  • Add Anchor Point: Add anchor point to the sub-selected object.
  • Delete Anchor Point: Delete anchor point on the sub-selected object.

Brush: Paint on the stage.

Eraser: Remove sections of shape.

Align

Layout: Adjust place or size of the selected objects. The commands under this category are listed below.

Align Align Left Align Left Align to left edge of all selected objects.
Align H-Center Align H-Center Align to horizontal center of all selected objects.
Align Right Align Right Align to right edge of all selected objects.
Align Top Align Top Align to top edge of all selected objects.
Align V-Center Align V-Center Align to vertical center of all selected objects.
Align Bottom Align Bottom Align to bottom edge of all selected objects.
Match Size Equal Width Equal Width Adjust the selected objects to same width with the standard of the last selected one.
Equal Height Equal Height Adjust the selected objects to same height with the standard of the last selected one.
Equal Size Equal Size Adjust the selected objects to same size with the standard of the last selected one.
Distribute Arrange Horizontally Arrange Horizontally Arrange the selected objects horizontally with equal space.
Arrange Vertically Arrange Vertically Arrange the selected objects vertically with equal space.
Arrange Front Bring to Front Bring the selected object to the topmost position in Z-order.
Forward Bring Forward Bring the selected object forwardly in Z-order.
Backward Send Backward Send the selected object backwardly in Z-order.
Back Send to Back Send the selected object to the outmost position in Z-order.
