I am trying to modify the videoPlayer.swf from the Adobe FMS Interactive server.

Presently, if no live stream is playing, the player on the client just states 'loading...'.

Will the Sothink SWF Decompiler for Windows make it possible to get rid of the text of 'loading...' and change it to something else.

I downloaded the trial version and I am not able to find this text in the Adobe videoPlayer.swf file.

Does anyone know if I am on the right track with this, and/or do you use Adobe FMS server?

If this tool will work we will go ahead and purchase some licenses for it.

Any help advice would be great, as I am new to this and still learning.

The text is most likely inside an actionscript file (.as extension). Try to extract the actionscript files, open them with text editors, and do a search (CTR+F) for the words "loading". To get rid of the text, change it to " " (empty quotes)

We currently run Adobe Flash FMS Interactive server, this video file videoPlayer.swf is from the FMS server.

I purchased the Sothink decompiler, I can locate the data that needs modification, however I have been told you cannot edit the Action Script.

Here is the code snippet from the Decompiler:

I want to get rid of the 'loading' syntax because is there is no live video feed it just sits on 'loading' and it would be nice to change it to 'no live video stream' or something productive.

What other software do I need to purchase to accomplish this task, I can export the data to FLA and/or Flex?

I am currently puzzled trying to figure this out, any help/advice other software and/or message forums to help out would be great.

Finding information on the FMS Adobe server can be challenging (for Linux installs), the Sothink Decompiler is working great, I am just in need of additional information/knowledge to get past this step.

videoPlayer.swf --> Action --> fl --> Action --> (file) VideoState

´╗┐package fl.video
{

final public class VideoState extends Object
{
public static const CONNECTION_ERROR:String = "connectionError";
public static const BUFFERING:String = "buffering";
public static const SEEKING:String = "seeking";
public static const STOPPED:String = "stopped";
public static const PAUSED:String = "paused";
public static const RESIZING:String = "resizing";
public static const PLAYING:String = "playing";
public static const DISCONNECTED:String = "disconnected";
public static const LOADING:String = "loading";
static var EXEC_QUEUED_CMD:String = "execQueuedCmd";
public static const REWINDING:String = "rewinding";

public function VideoState()
{
return;
}// end function

}
}
