My company has a video streaming website.
The conversion is done on the web server by command-line version of fvec.

There are some kinds of video that can not be converted.
Here is the information of one of those, a *.wmv file (taken from fvec)

Code:
Audio: MP3 Audio, 22 KHz, 32 Kbps, 2 Channels
Video: Windows Media Video 8, 320 x 240, 246 Kbps, 0.00 fps

Some videos (2% of all videos) can not be converted on the web server. The progress always stopped in 1% progress or somewhere below 100%. It never increases.

But, if i convert it in my computer, it can be converted successfully.
But in some computers in my office too, it can not be converted.
So it only can be converted in my computer.

There are another computer in my office.
Both it and mine use windows server 2003, windows media player version 10.00.00.3700.
I have installed the latest codec from klite mega code pack.
I have installed the latest fvec on both computers.

But the result is still the same.
Some videos only can be converted in my computer.

I guess the problem is not the file size or file extension.
Because the server can convert other large files successfuly.

Here is the command that i use
Code:
"fvec.exe" "{SOURCE_FILENAME}" "{FLV_NAME}.flv" -vf 12.5 -vb 256 -vk 50 -vw 320 -vh 240 -wp 230,8 -ws 5,0 -wn "watermark.png" -tn "{THUMBNAIL_NAME}.jpg"

How can i convert those videos in all machines? Do i miss something here?

- Kurniawan.

Hi Kurniawan,

Do you refer to some video files can not be converted using Video Encoder Engine for Adobe Flash (Windows Version)?

If it is, please inform us of the relevant URL for checking, and please also provide us with one of the problematic WMV files for us to reproduce the issue and then check the cause for it.

And we also suggest you upload the problematic MWV file to our demo site to check whether it can be done properly if it is possible.

Hope it helps and have a nice day!

Best Regards
