I noticed one thing....
when you have a html web-site with a tree menu... and you open a branch for the first time, then the gif images that show the lines between the nodes and the [+] gif image dont show at first, but only after some moments (0.5 seconds, my guess)
as i understand this, the gifs have to load from the server. You didnt "needed" them when you first loaded the page... but now as you open a branch you need them and they have to load afterwards...
you can prevent this by loading them as your page loads, like this...
and you add this attribute to each img tag:
... so the gif-s dont show on the page....
to "feel" the difference visit this:
Gifs dont preloaded: www.dylan7.com/menu/menu.htm
Gifs preloaded: www.dylan7.com/menu/menu2.htm
(you may have do delete the browser cache in between: Crtl+Shift+Del in Firefox)
My question is:
Is there a option to prelaod all gifs that the menu uses?
If not, i advise you to add this option in future versions.
