Hi,

When I attempt to export my .swf as mpeg, Sothink crashes and closes, saying there was an error - but nothing more specific than that.

The .swf is short - about 12secs at 25fps and no audio.

Can you offer any advice?

Thank you,

C

Hello Colette Casey,

We have not met this problem before. Could you please tell us whether you are using the latest version of Sothink SWF to Video 2.1 Build 70515 on your computer?

If it is, please tell us the OS and detailed settings when you convert the file, and also provide the file to support@sothink.com for us to have a check.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

Hi Sophia,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I am using Windows XP and converting a Flash 8 file with 286frames @ 25fps to MPeg Format, DVD_Pal, No audio, frame by frame.

It will play and capture but crashes when converting with the message: "swf to video converter has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I'm not sure about the version of Sothink - it was downloaded from the site 1 week ago. I also tried it by installing from the Backup CD and got the same result. How can I check this for you?

I will e-mail the file to the address provided,

Many thanks,

Colette

Hello Colette,

Thanks for the detailed information provided!

To check the version of Sothink SWF to Video Converter, please launch the program, and then click Help>About Sothink SWF Video Converter, just like the screenshot I provided. And then, you will got the version of the program.

Referring to the swf file, please zip the file first, and then provide it to us. You can also send the file to me via PM.

Hope that helps and have a nice day.
