I am getting a white box imprinted on the screen when a pop-up is "closed" on IE7 - this white box stays on the screen, new pop-ups appear in the same area (the code directs them to the same location) but when they are closed the white box from the first instance remains on the screen. REFRESH is the only way to clear the screen.

the box looks like this: http://boverman.com/whitebox.html

the page with the scroller is: http://adventoftime.com/collections.html

i have attached a copy of the supporting .js file in .pdf format

Please let me know if there is anything i can do to correct this state, and if others have had the same problem

thanks

Maybe there is something wrong with the load file function.
We do not know if it is related to the load file http://adventoftime.com/popups/duo_classic_rose.html

To check it, please remove the css and js in the head section. If there is no result, please add those removed parts one by one to make a further check. And tell us your check results.

Alternatively, you could try HTML to load tip instead of Load file.

For the HTML method, please see the attached screenshot.
Enter the html code of the page duo_classic_rose.html here.

I have downloaded the new version of scroller and will try and use it to create the scroll and pop-ups i need. this may fix the problem since the new version seem to address the "Fail to cancel the coding of path" issue in 1.2

i tried your suggestion to remove the LOAD FILE function and replace it with HTML, but the HTML seems to lacks support for roll-overs and in FIREFOX the TABLE tage is ignored and the pop-up spreads to 100% of screen size.

i am going to revise the page: http://www.adventoftime.com/collections.html

using scroller 2.0 and see if that does not help with the problem. will let you know of the result.

do other users have this problem, or has anyone else reported this issue, with IE7?

We found another solution without using HTML instead.

Please remove the following code of the page http://www.adventoftime.com/popups/trio ... white.html

Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3c.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd">

Because the code of your page does not match the dtd type you used.
You can also use other dtd to have a try.
