Hello! First-time user, week-long browser...

First, let me say that this little gem is truly excellent!

Now, for the nitty-gritty! There are two features that would make this my one-stop-shop for all my web needs, one is a shiny thing, the other is a functionality thing. Hopefully one, if not both, are do-able without waiting for a new version by using external stuffs.

1) Is there a way to pause the scroll? Say, for instance, I used the HTMLItems template, and set it to show only one object at a time. Is there a way to turn on auto-scrolling but have it stop for, say, 10 seconds per item? Stop for 10 seconds (unless the mouse moved into the window), then move onto the next news item. I'd be using this part of the program as a news rotator.

2) Shiny thing... is there a way, if #1 is do-able, to change the effects? Instead of scrolling left or right, fading in and out?

I know I can get this functionality elsewhere, but we have a use for this program for about 4 other reasons, all of which are scrolling all the time and can literally be used with the provided templates. This one news scroller thing, however, is sticking out like a sore thumb! I would VERY much like to use this program to handle it all (not to mention making administrating it insanely simple!).

As an aside, the person I work with is a programmer, and I wonder... if I gave him a javascript file with fade effects and all that jazz, think he could figure all this out? I mean, if it's something silly simple, and I won't have to bow to him (he's one of THOSE programmers ;) ), awesomeness! If not... well... I'll just wait for your response before I start baking crow!

Sorry, both features cannot be easily done by using external stuffs currently. Anyway, you can let your programmer to have a try.

Those features are all in our V2.0 schedule. :)
