I recently tried out SLM and I loved it. Unlike some of the people on here, I did not have a problem when I was demoing it lol, my problem was AFTER I bought it. I created a really nice logo for one of my websites and I "exported" it as a jpeg so I could ask someone else if they thought it was up to par or not. After I bought the program I tried open I tried important I tried load project, etc. I keep getting the same exact error. out of memory. Anyone know how to make it stop doing this? While I'm here, I may as well ask my other questions
- For the "outside" of the square logo, is there anyway to "shape" it differently? Perhaps starbursts or a crimped look. Something other than just plain old SQUARE. Being square is so SQUARE!
- Also, when you first open the program, one of the logos that is an example, the one titled "sign design" has a faded effect or look to it. I know which effect it is (7/8). But, when I created my logo in the demo, I could not access the 7th "circle" effect. Was that because I was a trial user or am I just doing something wrong?
- Lastly, has anyone created anything OTHER than logos using SLM? Such as; twitter backgrounds or backgrounds in general? I am assuming if I save a logo I can ultimately use it anywhere I want if I fix the scaling on it.
