I have created a number of menu's for clients and I want to start adding these to my WordPress portfolio pages so to show other potential clients what I might do for them. However I am totally in the dark on how to achieve this. Has anyone tried anything like this?

The main problem seems to lie with the fact that this string
<script type="text/javascript" src="stmenu.js"></script>
needs to be added within the head tag but seeing as WordPress works different than let's say a standard HTML page I have no idea how achieve this.

I have now added this string:
<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/menu/stmenu.js"></script>

in between the heads tags of my header.php file of the choosen theme.

In the post I have placed this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.mywebsite.com/images/menu/menu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
updatepage();
//--></script>

and even though the menu sort of shows it doesn't show any formatting (no color, no images, no mouse over effects)

Hi Wolf,

I've never tried what you're attempting but I suggest using a plugin called "Add to Header" to add the JavaScript code to your header. There are a couple of plugins you might try to add JavaScript to posts or pages - "Allow Javascript in posts and pages" or "PureHTML". Please let us know if you have any success.

Regards,

Hmmm that might be a solution because at the moment I do have the menu but it just doesn't show correctly (hardly at all to be honest).

I will try my luck with some plugins and see where it leads me. If it works I'll be back to let all know.
