Hi, I'm trying to add a lightbox to my images inside the scroller but I can't figure out how to put the lightbox link in order to activate the script.

Here's the line that I need to add as a link to each image inside the scroller:

<a href="images/image-1.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]">image #1</a>

The entire lightbox script is here:
http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox2/

Any advice is appreciated.
Cheers

Please try using HTML code in the General panel. Input <a href="images/image-1.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]">image #1</a> there, and delete the file path for images.

Hi there been following this topic but having no luck, I think you need to explain yourself more clearly.

If someone wishes to use lightbox with your scroller how exactly should this be done?

There isn't anywhere to enter the above code in the General Panel (ie Global/General)

And where exactly should we delete the image path, this again has not beeen clearly outlined. The screenshot doesn't say under which tab this should be done?

Should we be creating Text only scrollers or not?

Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Hi joelpeyton,

1. Please highlight the scroller item in the left list of the program, and go to Item panel, choose HTML type, and enter the following code in the blank field:
Code:
<a href="images/image-1.jpg" rel="lightbox[roadtrip]">image #1</a>

2. It is also in Item panel, if you just delete the image path, just remove the path in Image field and leave the field vacant.

3. And you can generate text only scrollers in the latest version 2.0. You can try it yourself.

Hope this helps and have a nice day!

Cindy

Thanks for your reply

Implemented exactly as you said but still no luck, also spoke to the original member who posted this request and they had no luck either (they actually ended up using a different scroller altogether!!)

any ideas?

Hi joelpeyton,

Would you mind uploading your relevant web page files and the scroller SJC file for checking?

Thanks a lot for your co-operation!

Regards

:D
sts_ai("i0",[1,"<a href=\"admin/dbimages/aman.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img src='admin/dbimages/aman.jpg' height='100' width='100' border='0' ></a>","center","_self","",100,100,""],["transparent","bold 9pt Arial","#003399","none","bold 9pt Arial","#CC6600","none"]);

i think u must understand what do i mean by this

well select text only from Sothink Scroller
and Put
<a href=\"admin/dbimages/aman.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img src='admin/dbimages/aman.jpg' height='100' width='100' border='0' ></a>

instead of text and it will show an image and will open LightBox
I Hope I answered answer the question
