Hi there,

We are assuming the video downloaded from Youtube is .flv format. And we are sorry that you can not import a .flv into Sothink Video Encoder for Adobe Flash directly and it will not be recognized successfully, as our software is used for converting other video formats into .flv videos. You can check the supported formats here:
http://www.sothinkmedia.com/decoder.php

As for placing video in your web page, you can take the HTML page generated from the software for reference first, please make sure the relevant .flv is located in the correct directory to the page!

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

I see it generates the entire swf into a file that i can just put click here as alt with the generated swf. And the htm works just as well.. is the htm for embedding?
thanks in advance.

Yes, you can just copy the codes from the exported HTML to your web page to display video!

You just need to make sure the video name and path are correct.

:)
