Hi

I am trying to edit the Classic (Compact) skin that comes with the Video Encoder software.

I can place a small logo on the control bar using Quicker by importing the graphic. It all looks OK on screen and previews OK. Save the .sqf file. Then Publish the .swf. (Are there any special settings needed here?)

Then using Video Encoder I can select the Skin and get a preview, but at the end of the conversion it says .swf FAILED. I have found a conversion log that says this:-
Code:

Anyone have a clue?

I have got a little further with this.

Merely opening Classic (Compact).sqf with Quicker 3.0 Build 70524 and resaving causes Video Encode 2.2 Build 70406 to fail creating the SWF file.

This makes me think that Video Encode may not be expecting a Quicker 3.0 sqf file? Is there a problem with these two products working together?

Hmmm... I managed to find a Version of Quicker 2.6 and this seems to work fine to modify the Skins with Video Encoder.

But my Quicker 3.0 Registration Key will not work with 2.6!!!!! What a mess....

Why don't the latest versions work with each other?

Hi gruff,

Sorry that upgrade to SWF Quicker v3.0 needs another $15.95.

Hope you may understand.

Regards

:)

Sorry you do not understand.

I HAVE BOUGHT QUICKER 3.0 and it does not work to modify skins with Video Encoder.

I HAVE BOUGHT BOTH...... Now I just want them to work together.

3.0 does not work with Video Encoder. So I have had to DOWNGRADE to 2.6. My registration key for 3.0 DOES NOT WORK with 2.6......

I need help to make them work together or a refund please.

Hello. No reply to my helpdesk e-mail. No help here either. The week is nearly over now and I cannot get these two products to work together. Shame the support is not better than this.

Because the video encode was release before SWF Quicker 3.0, it can not recognise the document format of SQF 3.0.

How to customize skins by yourself?

You can also customize the skins yourself. All the skinks were made in Sothink SWF Quicker. The source files (*.sqf) of the skins are installed in the "Skins" folder under the installation folder. You can open them in SWF Quicker and edit them.

http://www.sothink.com/product/flashvid ... ntrols.php

There is no information that we need a spezial version of Quicker.
Please send me an key for Quicker 2.6 or give me another help so i can modify the skins.

I got the same problem here. Purchased both Sothink SWF Quicker 4.5 and Sothink Video Encoder for Adobe Flash 2.5 and wanted to edit an existing skin, but it won't work.

The preview function shows the controls, but not the video. After conversion it tells me "SWF: Failed". Is there any solution for this problem?

Thanks a lot,
Cedric

Hi there,

We are terribly sorry that the SQF file for the skins of Video Encoder for Adobe Flash just can be recognized with Sothink SWF Quicker V2.5!

So if you purchased SWF Quicker V3.0 and the higher versions, please contact us at support@sothink.com, providing us with the relevant purchasing information about your SWF Quicker, and then we will offer you a download link for V2.5!

And for those users who are not the registered users for SWF Quicker, if you would also like to get the version to modify your skins, please contact us at support@sothink.com as well, and we will try to provide a solution for you!

We will appreciate your understanding and have a nice day!

Thanks a lot!
