I am able to publish successfully using the Condition code to link to my MySQL database. I can view the results by running scroller_js.php http://www.dailydealhunt.com/scroller/j ... ler_js.php

I copied/pasted the javascript code from JWS into test.html http://www.dailydealhunt.com/scroller/test.html . I used Firebug in Firefox to confirm my paths and can view the scroller_js.php data and CSS stylesheet.

I've looked at this issue everyway until I'm cross-eyed - I'm sure the answer is sitting there staring at me but I'm blind now

Any help on what I need to do in my html to get the scroller to appear?

BTW - I would add my sjc file but looks like adding an attachment is turned off for me.

dijenga - thanks a bunch for looking at this for me!

I picked up this php methodology from this post... viewtopic.php?f=29&t=294781

I ran JWS with scroller.js - I get the scroller now but no data. I attempted to clean up the php echo codes in scroller.js with my editor but the scroller fails to show when I make any changes.

I also tried to add html to the php codes as work-arounds:

Link
- before "<?php echo($Image_url)?>"
- after <a href="<?php echo($Image_url)?>">Scope</a>

Image
- before "<?php echo($Image_path)?>
- after <img src="<?php echo($Image_path)?>">

When I follow the instructions in the PHP Dynamic Image tutorial ( http://www.sothink.com/product/javascri ... /phpdb.htm ) I can successfully view the scroller. My goal is to auto-populate my JWS web scroller with data from my MySQL database versus handcrafting a textfile per the tutorial.

Admin has file attachment disabled for me since I am new to this board - but maybe you can right click on this link and get my sjc file. http://www.dailydealhunt.com/scroller/ddh.sjc

Thanks again!

Thanks for the heads up!

I haven't had enough time on this board yet to PM JaffaDave...I did change the subject so if he checks in hopefully he'll see it.

Do you recommend another methodology using .js to access a mysql database for an image scroller? - either in JWS or another widget.

I've tried jcarousel but from my experience it doesn't have the ability to pull in from mysql...
