Hi,

I'm trying to upload a flash video on to my website. I created the flv. and swf. files using the programme. I put it all together in dreamweaver, then when I test it...it works fine.

As soon as its online. It wont work. It just says "stream not found" Can anybody help?!?!

The address i have uploaded it to is:

http://www.david-spearing.com/videos.html

Can somebody take a look...or take a look at the code. Tell me what im doing wrong?

Both the .swf and the .flv are uploaded into david-spearing.com/videos/

Thanks,

David

We have checked your Web page and found a few problems.
1. We got a 404 error while accessing "http://www.david-spearing.com/videos/piraciesplayer.flv". Please make sure you have uploaded the .flv file. If you have uploaded file, please make sure you have added a MIME map for .flv extension in you IIS.

2. The following code is incorrect:
<param name="src" value="videos/piraciesplayer.swf" />
It should be:
<param name="movie" value="videos/piraciesplayer.swf" />

Maybe the file is there, but IIS will not send it to the HTTP client if a correct MIME map has not been created. To create the MIME map, please follow these steps (takes Windows 2000 server as an example).

Create MIME Map for .flv files:

1. Select the site to configure in IIS, right click and select "Properties".
2. Under HTTP Headers Tab, click the "File Types" button and select "New Type ".
3. Enter ".flv" as the extension and "video/x-flv" as the MIME type and click OK.
