Step 5: Publish menu to web page

This step shows you how to publish menu to web page.

1.Open an existing page in your web page editor or create a new page and save it.

2.Switch back to Sothink DHTML Menu. Click the button "Publish" and choose the option "Publish JS...".

3.Click Folder button to choose a directory to save the generated js file, the path is E:\tutorial\menu\topmenu.js.

4.Click first button "Copy All" to copy menu code within <HEAD> tag of HTML code. Find such tags in HTML page: <Head> and </Head. Paste the menu code between <head> and </head> of HTML page. The result is like this:

5.Click second button "Copy All" to copy menu code within <BODY> tag of HTML code. Find such tags in HTML page: <Body> and </Body>. Paste the menu code between <body> and </body> of HTML page. The result is like this:

6.Save this page.

7.Go to DHTML Menu again. Check the option "Copy the resource files" to copy and paste the resource files used in this menu to the defined folders; Click OK, the program will copy and paste the resource files to the below folders listed automatically.
